Meta Tag : Keyword 的錯誤觀念

很多人認為SEO就是Meta Keyword，而Meta Keyword就是萬能，最強的SEO方法，只要在meta keyword中打一大堆Keyword就能夠獲得最大的SEO成效，小至數十個Keyword，多更達至數百個Keyword。可是這個觀念是錯誤的，Serach Engine並不一定會把你數百個Keyword都記下來。目前比較廣泛的說法是25個或者是10個。 網上的meta tag檢查工具一般都會警告超過25個keyword的頁面。 而Description卻是在250/100 字元以內。 雖然沒有人知道各Search Engine讀取的數據與方法。 可是這確實是可以參考的做法。 超出範圍的Keyword，不但沒有成效，更要冒著被Search Engine降低SEO評分的風險，而且更會把重要的keyword比重沖淡。這對SEO的工作反而不利。 雖然Meta tag keyword的重要性已不及往日，可是這還是作SEO時需要注意的地方。

Web Design Tools:網頁設計工具Frontpage,Dreamweaver

提到網頁設計工具，都不離Frontpage 和 Dreamweaver 這兩個著名的工具都是一種所見即所得(WYSIWYG, What You See is What You Get) 的網頁編輯器 可是由Frontpage所制作的網頁，編成的文件會包含大量不必要的Frontpage獨有Html程式碼，這不但不專業，而且更影響對搜尋器搜索你的網頁內容。 而利用Word所制作的網頁，問題會比Frontpage來的更為嚴重，偶爾更會出現理應4-5kb的文件，經Word的轉儲成了200+ kb的文件。 除了獨有的程式碼外，更大的問題是針對的瀏覽器。一般由Frontpage編寫的特效，除了Internet Explorer外，其他的瀏覽器都未必能正確顯示。 上文提到大量不必要的Frontpage獨有程式碼，偶爾會出現只能在Frontpage Preview中才能正常顯示的情況。 利用Dreamweaver所制作的網頁並不能完全避免Frontpage的情況，可是Dreamweaver所制成的文件無疑比Frontpage準確。 網頁設計師除了利用WYSIWYG的網頁編輯器外，還是需要自行修改文件的程式碼。
